May sound like a daft question but.......

Are all the buildings in this section 1/16th scale?

Thanks,

Mike

Ta,

I there an idiot proof way to scale down a building? For example, how long would a 1:1 100 foot building be in 1/16th scale?

Just divide 100 by 16 = 6.25 feet

If you want a yard stick, a good height for a ceiling is 8 feet, which scales down to 6 inches or 150mm. So a 2 storey house is approx 12 inches or 300mm up to the eaves. As stated above, just divide any real measurement by 16.

For what it's worth, I did a sort of build thread showing stage by stage how I built my battlefield house. You will see it if you scroll down.

Here's a quick way to scale for 1/16 - take the dimensions in feet of the actual building and multiply by .75 and this gives you the dimension of the model in inches. For example, if the real building is 40 feet by 20 feet, multiply both by .75 to find the model building will be 30 by 15 inches.
