Re: Hooben 1/16 sherman (fury)
Good morning,
John, thank you very much! That is not a bad price at all. ;o) I have a spare TK-22 set up for the MATO M36-B1. I wonder what the RTR could be delivered for without the MFU and receiver? Thanks again!
regards,
Painless

I think it would be a good seller without the electrics allowing you do fit whatever you choose, I was lucky I bought a few
spare flyskys at a good price, the TX it came with is rubbish and only fit for the bin the price includes vat,
am I right in saying in the states you can buy it from the uk less vat although the shipping may be expensive.
regards john

John!
Yessir, no VAT but as Dave from Forgebear always cautions, full scale tanks are expensive to ship. May be time to hit up Ali Express ;o)
regards and thanks again!

When importing don't forget import duty (20%) vat and a handling charge as well which is about £18.00

a cheaper alternative to a Tamiya ?the hull/turret are good more refined/detailed than a mato ? the radio seems to work ok on mine ,a bit of trim ? but it did have a funny moment ? just shut it down and restart ?

Re: Hooben 1/16 sherman (fury)
Bloody nice! I was considering doing something similar to mine since I have a spare Trumpy/WSN T-34/85 that I've been planning to convert as a PLA tank from the Korean War. Would look great alongside each other & I love getting my neighbors worked up over stuff like this.cannedheat wrote:hooben E8

Re: Hooben 1/16 sherman (fury)
Heard today that Hooben has their new 1/16 Tiger in production. Zimmerit will be an available option along with metal upgrades once they are ready. After seeing the proto last month, I plan to get one.
Re: Hooben 1/16 sherman (fury)
Any idea if that Tiger will be more accurate/detailed than HL or others are?

Re: Hooben 1/16 sherman (fury)
Haven't yet seen the final product but prototype that was on Hooben's conference table I saw looked very close in terms of detail to the Tiger (P) sitting beside it so should be better than HL & expect it to be a smaller version of their 1/10 late Tiger. Feng told a week ago its now in production and soon available.
