Panzer I – Start-up of the German Panzerwaffe
As the title suggests, I would like to contrast with the numerous existing "bigger" models in the 1/16 RC scene, a smaller model - the Panzer I Ausf. B and in addition a conversion - the Command Tank I.
A short view into the designing of the two models…
…the Panzer I Ausf. B …
…and the Command Tank I.
The kit of Panzer I Ausf. B (following abbreviated to Pz. I) consists of several milled poly and aluminum plates in different thicknesses. It also includes 3D printer parts and other components, which will be shown in the following construction report. Of course, a detailed construction manual will also be available for this RC kit and will be available again from Christian Ludwig .
3D parts for the Command Tank I (following abbreviated BW I):
To be continued…
Cheers,
Freddy

Another spectacular design Freddy, and a refreshing change from the big cats and paper panzers that are so popular. I'm looking forward to seeing you work your magic and create another beautiful model!

Starting the build report with the lower hull; it´s the same for Pz. I and BW I:
Parts for middle and aft bogie:
The front bogie is different compared to the others…
Idler parts…
The track gear need to be very small – nothing exists at the market (only in 1:35 available) that´s strong enough, therefore scratch build is needed, but will be available from Chris too:
Have a nice weekend!

the price will be approx. 180 EUR for the Styrene and printed parts including drive sprockets made of Aluminum, approx. 80 EUR for the track gear and the tracks will be around 40 EUR. If you´ll add these numbers you will get up to 300 EUR - the same price as the SOL static model, but this will be RC
