Dark Green PLA printer filament

Post by AlwynTurner »

As a lot of my printing is for military vehicles, I reasoned that having dak green filament would be a good idea. I found this and ordered some and I'll let you know how it works out - it's fairly cheap also.

be interested to hear how it prints. I need to get some more filament soon. Been using black, but anything I paint I have been primering first with high-build sparay primer to hide the layer marks as well as provide a paintable surface. Having a green base colour would come in handy for stuff I can't or shouldn't paint.

How did the green stuff work out? I too have been thinking what would a good base colour be for what type of vehicle!

The filament was a bit too 'luminous green' for my liking, but it was very strong, quite a bit stronger and harder than the grey filament I have been using but it is a sort of dark green. I think I would prefer a daker gren though.
