DVLA takes your tank licence

Post by anglosaxon »

Did you know, the DVLA took away your right to drive a tank on the road without telling you,This is for the oldies when you sent your pink licence off to be replaced by the new photograph licence when you received your new photo licence it was returned to you without your right to drive a tracked vehicle on the road look it up or have a look on your new licence.just thought you would like to know.

Yup...alert the DVLA to anything.....and they will update your details and mess about with stuff. Much safer to stay off their radar! The less they do, the less they will get wrong.

Mine went when I added car to my full bike licence. Came back with just car and bike, with all the other stuff gone. I was gutted to lose my Milk Float and Traction engine rights.....

Similar things happened when they changed UK motorcycle entitlement from 'D' to 'A'. They screwed that up though, and quite a few licences came back minus the 'A' when changed. Police prosecuted a few before the DVLA screw up became public.

Mick, I thought you had an alarm system so all you have to do is hit the button on the key fob and it will beep to tell you where it's at? @)
When FDR coined the phrase "The Arsenal of Democracy", he was talking about Detroit. Proud to live in the 2nd most violent city in America!!

Was it Esso that ran the Tiger in your tank campaign many years ago?

You sure, I think my plastic licence retains the under 3 tons tracked category.

Under 3 tons? Metric tons? 3,000 kg? That won't do Mick any good for his Tiger!! @) :haha: :haha:
