Scratch build ypr 765

Post by Niels jansen »

Hello

After upgrading some tamiya tanks its time to build something different.

I live in the netherlands and we have some different or almost the same vehicles then neighbour countrys.
So time to build something dutch then.

I always liked the ypr 765.
Its a family member of the m113.
Only the upper part is different and it has a 25mm canon or .50cal.

Looking good, I’ll be following this one, is it a complete scratch or have you started with a kit & what running gear are you using?
Cheers

Hello wayne

One is now with a pzr 3 lower hull cut up.
It will be replaced by a 3d printed one.

The other one is complete scratch build.

For the gears i think i will use the pzr3 gears.
They fit in the bottom.

A unique model Niels, and you've done some fantastic work on the scratch build. There are some very complex shapes there, but you've captured the dimensions and adapted the Pz III chassis ingeniously. Well done!
