First time I did this kind of aging/weathering.

There resin, so a bit heavy.
Ordered them at Licmas Heng-Long Panzer.de
They come in 3 colors, sand-light grey and darker grey.
Ordered the darker ones, but received the light grey ones.
So both barrels in the first pic, have been sprayed by me in a darker color.
Started with one barrel first, was not sure how it would work out.
If I should have messed it up, there was only one to be redone.

As I mentioned in my other thread, I must detail it slightly.
Will add some rust on top of the rings around the barrel, that's were the water/melted snow remains and the rust begins.

Also I will try to make some leak remainings from the filler cap. Have no clue yet how to do it without washing away the paint around it.
Paint is enamel from Humbrol btw.
The washing on my Tigers I did with terpentine.
I will figure something out.

This morning I began with altering the other fuel barrel.
Wanted to have another rust pattern as on the barrel I made yesterday.
In fact there's no standard pattern for rust too

The ammo boxes I got last week, looked too "new" too.
So I made some scratches on them

Took both Tigers out into the field for a short run this morning, together with our oldest grandson

Made a "home-made steel cable" to secure the barrel on the Tiger's rear deck.
