Hi all how many of you have had problems with the new connections on the new sistem,,mainly the upper hull 8 pin conector,,,,,

I would say all of us who has them !
Changing the 8-pin plug alone does not solve it.
There has been a bit of trouble shooting on this for a while.
I knowTank Army down here are selling kits to convert that include the various auxiliary hardware to make it work, but so far I don’t know anyone who’s tried it.

I guess he, indeed, meant the new wiring, and the shenanigans going on to get independent up/down movement for the gun, ànd keeping the pea-shooter functioning.

I jùst converted a T-90 back to the “old” wiring and 8+3 mini-connector in the hull so it could use an IBU and/or a Clark T22, and it’s a rather tedious affair of tracing wires, re-soldering, snipping connectors and hard-wiring them back like on the old board, constantly afraid to cross-wire something and blow an expensive controller. Luckily I got a box full of old connectors and half assembled hulls, so I had some examples on hand.

Still, no fun.

Sorry I should of made myself more clear the new 8 pin upper hull connection has 9 wires in three two pin connections and a three pin the two pin for the gun shooting is connected black to positive on lights ,,, and red is negative to gun motor this the problem """" I have taken the positive from the smoke unit to the gun this working better,,

Sorry, please forgive my ignorance, but what kind of problems?
I know of the problems people have had converting older tanks to the latest Heng Long twin sound system. But is there other problems that I've missed?

Hi all yes the thing I found is the positive and negative i.e. Black and Red wires are not what you think There wrong way round the black on gun motor is positive getting its power linked to positive from lights,,,,this the problem when you fire the gun the power drop to lights is big,, so I took the power from smoke unit connections at 8pin block how I see it are ,, 1 and 2 elevation unit,, 3 and 4 rotation unit,, now this is the one pin 5 is negative to gun unit 6 is positive lights,mg,plus to gun unit ,,this is the heng long half hearted way of connecting it ,,,7 lights negative ,, 8 mg negative ,, as you go through it you see how things have changed with the orientation to the new system.
