Looks to be about early war, with Pz IIIs with longbarreled 50s, back when the T-34/76 was still a properly scary opponent.

It's been out for some time, I picked up a copy on blu-ray last year. check it out online, as far as I can recall I got mine on Ebay. Probably best watched in Russian with English subtitles, has it's faults but it's value for money as far as entertainment/escapism goes.
