Use "Zugang" or "Eintritt". The other term would be strange ;)

I couldn't decide whether "Eintritt would be better', but erred anyway... :/
I used to be fairly fluent in Hochdeutsch (with a slight 'Platt' and Hamburger flavour), these days I only get to speak Schweitzerdeutsch, nach Zürcher Mundart for a few weeks in the year... :)

Lagern (not the Beery type) had fairly primitive guard towers it seems. They looked like overhead toilets:

Auschwitz- by contrast- had deluxe towers though, for the SS if this is anything to go by:

Presumably the 'STOI" is a warning to all the Russian inmates they had there...

Well, some news here with my tower... This was my first time working with wood, and I did A LOT of mistakes that were very hard or immpossible to fix... I had a lot of problems with the "Betún de judea" (I dont now the name in english, sorry guys) and the white glue, among other failures, but well, the end result does not look bad... Now I know I could do another one much better but Im short of time.

The tower is still far from being finished... Im going to add some camo nets in the "windows" and then the electronics. The working radio controled warm white search light with pan and tilt movement, a stove inside the tower, and maybe a hand made sniper detector... And thats a moving helmet. I think it will be a cool idea. Also some more scratch built details like a telephone, boxes and so on...

As I said above, the guard post will be painted in red, white and black.

More or less. Under this helmet, my soldier has long hair and a red bandanna.

Thanks! In fact I like how it looks now... But I dont know, I think I still think I am going to paint it. This is the idea:

This photo does not help a lot but as I said, colors will be red, white and black.

At the other hand, today I worked with plaster. This was my first time and I liked it! It opens a new world to me. The plan is to paint it in a mixture of greens, browns, and some stone colors... Lets see how it goes.

Well, finally I painted the guard post. I have to wather it a bit. I think I will live it at the balcony for a while, and lets see how the real weathering works.
