It's a beautiful tank in metal alright.. But like was said, the front doesn't look right on it.. And to be honest, I just can't see the $8,000 price tag justification on my part.. Plus, I've heard that there are replacement parts availability issues? So I would pass on this deal..

I'm sure there will be a few people that buy it, but not many..
I used to be indecisive. Now, I'm not sure..

Gents such a long series of talking points! I have this in 1/8 it cost me £3500 with £150 shipping as I currently live in Hong Kong. I will bring it back next year and if I can find a meet will bring it for you to see. It is fantastic, no doubt not 100% (or even 95%?) accurate but, well, you need to see it to believe it.

Video below. I am guessing i could file down the front plate ;)

Im not sure i’d file it but I suppose better to have the extra metal to be able to file it, than not.

I suspect though I’ll leave it!

Well your video actually proves beyond doubt that the 1:8 model really does have barrel recoil, and no dependency on track recoil as with lesser models.. There was quite a bit of doubt about that feature earlier.

But for for money, I'd rather Have the Armortek late Tiger 1. The company are currently accepting orders. Not from me, though...I'm no Walter Mitty :D

Speaking of funny translations. I once read a translation of a mountainbike fork, that had a spring in it. Guess what was the funny translation in the German version? I tell ya, it had to do with the term spring. Advise to the translator, mind the context .

'Mountainbike Frühling'...(wie die 'Saison'? Im Gengensatz zu.. 'Federung' ?) Klingt Komisch..

Exactly and the spring Season was evident throughout the whole Manual. :lolno:
It was one of the more expensive manufacturers, I think it was FOX when I remember correctly.

Fuchs in Frühling? ;) Ah, well an appropriate company name for an animal at this time of year. Now that the Frühling suspension is sprung. :D
