Hello,

I entered this forum to tell something about Andreas. I resold some of his items and order StuG kits from him in December 2017. He was only able to send 2 Stug kits (i ordered 5). Then I asked him when he will able to deliver the rest and he answered approx. February. Then end of January I saw his website down "Kurze technische Pause" (short technical downtime). This is a admin feature which only the admin can activate. Then I called his mother (I never meet Andreas in person) and she told me (she was very sad) that he is missing since 2 weeks. He and his 2 dogs are missing. His mother told me police was searching for him with Helicopter with infrared-system. She did not says infraed-system, but I guess its a police-standard if they search for people.

I am just telling my thoughts and this is not to start any rumors...but my first personal thought was suicide. Police found his car, but I wonder how is it possible to disappear 2 dogs and himself? Without getting detected by infrared? No ocean near where he lives. To me it is strange.

This is really sad news. I hope for the best and check in from time to time and no updates. He was always super nice and very helpful to me, as I'm sure many others in the hobby. I occasionally would drop him a line and he would respond back.

I reached out to him last fall and winter with no response, at the time I blew it off, but after time passed I said to myself maybe he's just busy....or not doing the business anymore.

My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family
Tanks alot....

The Hobby has lost another Good man. I am sure that he is busy casting parts for Phil in the Hobby Shop across the River.
