1/16 willys jeep

Post by Lct548 »

Does anyone know where I can get an RC Jeep from? It would look good on my landing craft.

I’ve a 3D printed one at home that’s ready for converting, I’ll post pics when I get home.

Hmm, I’ve got the dashboard somewhere but I’m buggered if I can find it atm
Sizes in pen are at 1/16 it’s tiny!

The yellow motor/axle combo is the only thing I could find that was small enough.

Don’t lose heart with the WPL truck, there are loads of options, people have made all sorts on here!
I’ve been on with a Hanomag SS100 based on the WPL chassis for quite a while......
I’ve also just printed a WC51, I think you’d probably prefer that to a Jeep!

I just got this in the mail. 1/18 scale. I'm going to see if I can use any of the components for the Danbury Willys.

Pretty close.

Those are two good projects. My main reason for wanting a jeep is that on the landing craft there is a wooden walk way I can't put in as the wpl truck is too high to go under it.

You might want to take a look at this. It may also be good for your printed Jeep, Wayne.

Hope that helps. 8)
