No clue, do you want close-up pics? Are these not stock Armortek?
1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!

10 years in a barn= perfect weathering. No need for the airbrush

Benedini and Beier each have their own websites.

I suggest you log on to armortek forum or uk tank club on Facebook and ask for advice :)

Marco, I hate you! >:<

Just kidding, that's the envy talkin', ya lucky dog. 8)

I think pretty soon you'll have to change that bit in your signature that says, "1/16 is my scale". :haha:

You might consider an alternative to the Benedini, depending how many extras you want to add. I'm sure you've seen my Hetzer, and I used an IBU2 Pro with the TPA amp and a pair of 4 inch, 4 ohm, 20 watt (30 watt max) Visaton (sp?) speakers and got great results, and the IBU also opens up quite a few other options. For example, I use the IR barrel recoil servo circuit to pull the trigger on the paintball cannon and the elevation servo to traverse the remote MG34 (I also get MG sounds and LED flash from the IBU). If I had the radio programming skills I might have tried an Asp, which comes with a 20 watt amp built in and has many, many options for user sounds. Make it Moo like a cow if that's what blows your wig back, eh?

I know if I ever manage to score an Armortek one of the first things I'll do is scrap those lead acid batteries and go to a 6S lipo. That's what runs the Hetzer and it performs like a champ.

Are you going to keep the Futaba or upgrade? That's a 7 channel, right? It's always great to have extra channels for stuff like making the TC's head turn or arm raise. I'm using a flysky i10 and I like the three pots (I use two for paintball cannon control and one for volume) and it also has two shoulder slides switches that are pots.

Have you weighed it yet?

Great score, Marco, I can't wait to see what you do with it.

That looks like a great buy with a lot of potential. I think second hand is the way to go with those as I have heard they aren't exactly straightforward to build. I would love a 1/6th Tiger but as you can imagine the associated shipping costs means they are pretty thin on the ground in Australia.
