Thanks Mr A.3.5, can only give it a whirl & try to improve each time eh!
Next chapter should be gearbox and roadwheel setting followed by track alignment.

I am mocking up electrical services just now, though this is by far my weakest area.
Im getting impatient to get the paint on, but if I rush-its finished & I will need to start another one :/

Is that a bunch of stuff that you just bought? Or, are those projects that have been piling up?

Herman,
Good afternoon. That looks like a productive morning spent at a trunk sale flea market. Some great finds there including the Pz IV and the Sturm Tiger.
regards and following along as always,
Painless

A Panzer 4 Herman, :O
I was looking at
http://www.secretprojects.co.uk
earlier today and they were talking about a "FlakPanzer 1V Kubelblitz" Project which instead of using optics for siting the target with the 4 AA guns it would have a "Centimetric" Radar with the dish nestled in the middle of the gun turret, B|
2 Prototypes were built there is only one known photograph,
I thought because you have nothing much to do this could be another unique build for which you are famed. :haha:
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Three of them are I guess you could say commission builds. I have a boat load of brass work to do on each for the owner.
The king tiger upper hull was an eBay find for $40 AUD which I can use to replace the poor one on my KT one I get to it.
There is a Taigen T 34 lower and I have most of a Trumpeter 76 that can be grafted onto it , I hope to do an early ish T34/76 with a quirky look.

I do like that concept tank of your Mr Jarndice

Nice! Get to have fun on someone else's dime with the commission work.

So, the Tiger with the metal turret. Is that a Taigen mid-production? I'm curious as to your opinion of the ability to work with the metal turret and its zimmerit in terms of either adding details or chipping the zimmerit.
