Tiger 1 winter camo

Post by Alfa Three Five »

Hi all,

This time I'll work on a Tiger 1 with a winter camo, just few modification will be done on it like a proper gun tube, tools, trunk etc.

The idea is to get it a nice worn and used look like on the Eastern front.

This is how the tank looks like when I get it.

Hi, If you go to "Heng Long Builds" and click on Sub Page three you will find Herman's "White Tiger Build",
There is a lot of very useful information to be found especially on the Painting and weathering.  By the way I assume you have moved the Cupola since you first got it,?
I only ask because the photograph shows it at "Ten to Ten" when it should be at Twenty to Eight"

Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Hi Shaun,

Yes the cupola will be moved on the right place.

Regarding the painting and weathering, I think I can handle it but thank you in anyway it is always useful to get more info.

Just before Christmas I had some spare time so can work a little bit on the Tiger.

Here I start the white camo, some chips first to let appears the original camo underneath:
