Louis, Merry Christmas!
No dogging yourself on the figures. The helmets alone are masterpieces of the craft. Thank you for sharing this wonderful Build.
regards,
Painless

Re: M-113A1 ACAV APC - Vietnam - Build
Thanks you everyone,
The model is finished. I posted some new pics in the Show Off section but i am planning to take some more next summer outside in the sunlight. It was a most pleasant build and I would like to thanks Carl, Ad Lav, Herman, Wibblywobbly, Estnische, midlife306, painlesswolf, marc370, Soeren, BarryC, Alwyn, Raminator, 43rdRecceReg, Reaperr332, C.Ellis, Artyfist, Christ3, Max-U52 for their encouragements throughout the past two months. I needed these.
This year was a good modelling year for me. There was a Leopard II, a Nashorn, a Panther G, an M7 Priest and a M113. I also have a big program for 2018.
Regards, Louis

Hello from to Spain!
Great job! It´s interesting and wow. With your permission I copy ypur idea for my proyect M547. One question in a refence of a I beam, where is the reference from evergreen product? Or size of this?.
Thank you best regards
Antonio.

Hi, thank you

If you are inquiring about the central I-beam that I used between the engine and crew areas, it is a Plastruct no 90519, size is 7/16 or 11.1mm.Snipermadrid wrote:One question in a refence of a I beam, where is the reference from evergreen product? Or size of this?.

Hi Snipermadrid,
You should create a separate build tread to present your creation which I understand could be an M577. It would allow everyone to see your progress independently. Looks like it would be interesting.
Thanks, Louis

Hi,
Having built this model in the middle of winter with feet of snow outside, I realised I never did a good photo shoot of the M-113A1 ACAV in the sun, truly required to properly display a Vietnam vehicle. It's sunny here today so it was a perfect time to take it out. Here they are pictures.
