It was 42° on Thursday, and they're forecasting 40°+ for half this week. Who are the jokers who thought that colonising such an inhospitable hellhole was a good idea?

With regards to the masking, have you thought about a liquid mask? There's the paint-on latex stuff, plus the brush-on chipping fluids. Might save your sanity on such a big canvas!

Herman it looks fantastic! If I chance a run outside to paint my latest project my skin might look like red oxide paint... ( it's -12 Celsius) currently ( plus some shrinkage might occur) no.....

Beyond impressed with your work!
Tanks alot....

Oh god yes !!
It’s only like that until it get the recoil unit powered up by its own board or by plugging it into my donor Taigen Tiger that a club guy has .

Speaking of Taigen, who has info on availability of the version 2 systems just out ?
Would the version 2 be a thing to consider in lieu of an aftermarket hobby grade board ?

Right...I forgot that you had installed a recoil unit and that it wasn't the HL flub-bub.

For one, I'd be interested in your thoughts on the Taigen V2. I don't know about the availability in the land down under, but Erik at IMEX has them in the US. Here's a thread about it (http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-tank ... lable.html). If you reach out to him, he might know of some partners in Australia that have it.

If you are in touch with Mark, can you ask him if we should hold out for him to get them in stock?

Oh, and looking through my pics just now, I realised I forgot to do the weld around the cupola base.
Did some marks and will go around to represent multiple fillets soon.
