Tamiya Centurion
I came across this on Facebook. https://tamiyablog.com/2017/11/new-tami ... 7/#respond
It's a shame it's 1/25, but wishful thinking if they've done this perhaps they will upsize to 1/16.

Re: Tamiya Centurion
If I remember rightly Heng Long showed a 1/16 Centurion at a toy fair some years ago but it disappeared, I have a nasty feeling that the more recent products such as the Leo, the Abrams and the Challenger have left the Centurion in the back room gathering dust.

It looks like the 1/25th scale R/C kit will be reaching UK shores soon, at £199

plus a 1/25 Panther R/C kit for a similar price

Re: Tamiya Centurion
Looks quite detailed for a pint-sized 20-pounder purveyor. In the absence of grown-up 1/16 version, it might well be worth having. I enjoyed assembling a 1/35 Tamiya Cromwell; but this scale model has the advantage of some rc functionality.rochesb wrote:It looks like the 1/25th scale R/C kit will be reaching UK shores soon, at £199

Re: Tamiya Centurion
The last tank I built (before the KT I am currently building) was a Tamiya motorised 1/25 scale T34. That was around 1970.
It's been a long time........

Re: Tamiya Centurion
I have a built one I did 40 years ago done up as a Canadian one. It was a really, really nice kit with the full interior. There are a few around here that come up from time to time but not at that stupid price! LOL!

I wonder why? You would have thought a british tank kit sold in the UK would be popular?
