Heller 1/400 Tirpitz

Some time ego I have been given a Heller 1:400 scale Tirpitz. I was not at all interested in that kit and it was hiding in my garage for years. Till one day I thought it would be a challenge to radio control it. And a challenge it was. Existing plastic propellers and rudders were unusable. So they had to made new of brass. In order to keep to the scale the propeller shafts could not exceed 1 mm in diameter. The deck had to be removable and water tight to have excess to all the working parts plus the radio control. Eventually everything came together nicely and is performing nicely on the water. The exterior has still some work to be done. But so far I am quite happy.
