I chose to do dust-effects using Tamiya Buff applied with the airbrush. First time for me to do it like that. Works very well!
As you can see here I also replaced the solid piece of plastic tracks at the front for separate pieces of track.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!
The rust pigments improved the exhaust, also started adding mud
AK Interactive Kursk Mud with some plaster added for volume
Looks like baby poo...
When dried it is lighter. Using an old tootbrush to blend it in helps a lot. This is 'before'.

Finishing touches... Pigments on the rear grills, some accessoires, etc.
Flag is cloth with lots of PVA (on the back), easy to mold/fold in a nice shape, just let it dry, it becomes rock hard.

Did you paint the flag yourself?

Toothbrush is a good idea, I happen to have a similar product by mig, splashes dry earth or something, from the German vehicle weathering set. I like most products of that, but haven't found a way to use that properly. I guess it all comes down to mixing the different products. Do you have a picture after blending?
