I did convert a early HL tank into a late version. The road wheels came from forgebear, but they need a 4mm hole drilled through the middle to fit HL . The metal tracks sprocket idler and suspension arms came from Tankarmy. They sell the arms with 4mm bolts. I also made a simple track tentioner. If you are interested I can post some pictures.

The wheels I got from Forgebeartanks had two sets of axles, one for HL & one set for Taigen.

I was thinking i could make something up using thick flat washer and some bar and make some sort of eccentric up with locking adjuster inside chassis.

I drilled 4mm hole right through the road wheel and slightly countersunk it to accommodate the bolt head.

To fit the idler wheel I drilled a 12.5 mm hole about 7 mm deep.

The main axle has a 5 mm offset arm with a 5 mm socked head bolt with a M 4 mm threaded end that screws into the offset arm. The idler wheel needs to have a 5 mm hole drilled through its back part.

Here is a photo of the metal suspension arms that clearly shows they screw not in at right angle. They all needed to be re worked.

Complete view of the track tensioner. To do this tensioner you need to have access to a lathe, milling machine and drilling machine.
