Slat armour I get but for a t34?
Do you have a pic of what you're after ?

Funny, Ive got both pics(and built the bedspring version) but the 'slat' description has me stumped

Wow, didn't know the Germans put those skirts on..... I meant the original Russian ones.

The bedsprings? You might be out of luck there, you'll have to make them yourself. Herman did a great job with his, you can see how he did them here.

Why don't you buy some bits and give it a try? Worst case you start one and it's not too bad and by the second one you've gotten better. The parts shouldn't cost too much to source either....

You're be surprised with what you can accomplish. Herman did a wonderful job on his even if they don't come out as nice once you paint and weather them it will hide any imperfections.Image

Yip, you should give it a go.
The very nature of the screens being field fitted and possibly made of gathered material means they can be irregular and inconsistent, plus once weathered can transform the entire look
