Pic size

Any way We can have people resize they're pics to a more reasonable size?? Too many time the pics are too large to view without scrolling all over...especially when there is more than 1 pic.

Thanx ;D

I generally use 640 x 480 pixels for picture size, but 800 x 600 is a nice size too and you don't have to scroll around the picture to view it.
I also open the picture on my desk top using picasa 3 if the are over 800 x 600 size.

I admit I take picture at full resolution of 7 and 8 megapixel depending on which digital camera I am using ( a £60 point and shoot or the £595 digital SLR) there is not much difference between the two cameras when taking snaps, but when it come down to telephoto shots the SLR will win ever time with its big lens

here are two pictures of the English Electric lightning hung up in the cold war exhibition at the Cosford air museum, they were both taken on the same day from almost the same position, which is the SLR shot and which is the point and shoot shot, I have used Irfanview to get them to the same size

Hmmmm..depth of field looks better on the bottom one, but the centre focus looks better on the top one...less lighting glare on the bottom one too. My guess is the bottom one was taken by the expensive camera?

sorry Wibblywobbly, you are wrong, the top one was taken with the SLR and the bottom one with the point and shoot
I just thought that I would post a picture from both cameras to prove that you don't have to spend a fortune to get a decent shot unless you are into action photography for football or motor sports then you need a telephoto lens

I thought most people would prefer high resolution photos, not small ones
