Re: Heng long truck
So either rebuild the bonnet or add another axle to correct it?

Re: Heng long truck
When you think that a 1/16 "Wedico" truck can go for about £1,000 each it is really a direct comparison with the early days of Tamiya Vs Heng Long.
If you want a quality truck you buy the "Wedico" if you are a builder with access to a decent upgrade provider then it is Heng Long.
Shaun.

But I also hope he have done some of the industry standards like having 12mm hex fittings for the wheels to slip on the axes like Tamiya or Carson. ..or wedict
or we will be stuck with one set wheel and tyre for all the possible other builds and conversions ..
it would also be brilliant if hl produce a mid drive axel as well
But honestly can't see that happening at he moment

Re: Heng long truck
Mac, When Heng Long first started with their rock bottom priced R/C Armour a lot of people accused them of copying Tamiya, they of course denied it, But we all know they did,
If Heng Long have done the same to keep the price of moulds and production down then the standardisation of fittings will be part of reducing costs,
After that if there is a tangible demand for the truck then an expansion of the range including a long wheelbase 3 axle chassis might just be on the agenda, (I hope)
