The Dorset Tank Club joined the Forum at the end of April this year, made 5 posts from someone named Simon and last visited us on May 7. Hasn't been seen since. According to that information, they mainly model 1/6 scale.

Don't let that put you off. We are a friendly bunch. Please tell us a bit more about yourself - any tanks, what scale you model etc.

No tanks as yet. I really want to scratch build at some point, when I get more time. 1/6 armour is where I want to get too. Favorites? Any bridge layer of course, Maz 537G,I know its got no tracks but..., Lee/Grant, Centurion, WW2 stuff really. Engineer by trade. Build custom bikes and trikes in my spare time.

We have some great scratch builders on here, though they work in 1/16 scale. I would imagine that scratch building in 1/6 is a totally different ball game.

Have a good look around and when you have any questions, ask away.

Welcome. There's a Grant kit that Forgebear sells and I'm nearly finished a Lee from Haya (or it's the other way around...) plus a lot of friendly experts on here.

Just found this.... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Large-Scale-A ... 2235152705 and another edit, it's the fix the 21st Century version.
