Left/right reversed

Post by Blackadder123 »

Hello,

Recently updated the board in my Pz3 to a Taigen one and this involved soldering the wires to the motors. I soldered by looking at these gears:

Funnily enough, forwards/backwards is fine but left right is reversed?

Could anyone point me to my mistake?

Thanks

Wrong wires to the wrong motors? Swap motors round?...

Well, checking with my Tiger gearbox, the wires seem to be right. I also tried swapping the motor cables on the board, but this resulted in forwards/reverse being reversed. How do you post a picture here?

Yeah, weird uh? Same happened to me: HL PzIV, standard RX board replaced by Taigen 2.4

We refitted the motor-wires the other way around. 2 times. No matter what we did: left and right were reversed! :-)

So following this thread with interest!
1:16 was my scale. Until 'Konan' came into my life... an Armortek 1:6 Tiger 1!
... Now followed by a Panther G, 'Gunther'!

I'm a happy man. 8)

What I mean, is I would plug the left motor in the right motor shocket and viceversa. Then if it does not work Id remove the wires from the white plugs and Id try more combinations. Hope it helps somehow...

I'll give the swapping wires in the "plugs" a go, but is there a technique for that? Could anyone link a video perhaps, really lack the terminology to search it up, lol.
