In the few days that I've been a member of this group, I've discovered that quite a few members are also interested in RC warbirds. Warbirds are really my passion. I'm mostly flying foamy warbirds. These are my favorites:
- Freewing Me-262 (1.5m)
- FlightLineRC P-38L (1.6m)
- FlightLineRC Spitfire Mk IX (1.6m)
- Freewing F-86 (1.4m)
- Eleven Hobby P-51D (1.1m)
I was going to post a couple photos, but they were too large to post. So, instead, here's a link to my Flickr Warbird album: https://www.flickr.com/photos/142146060 ... 562692873/
And here's YouTube video of my Me-262: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zr4DeGwkJP8
If you scan through my channel, there are a lot more. Some have cameras mounted in front of canopy for some nice pilot views.
What are your favorite RC aircraft, and size/scale?

Re: RC Warbirds
Cool toys you have, mate! Wanna be my friend? Lol
The scale I like most is 1:16, due to is the same as my tanks, figures, buildings and so on. Bigger than that would be just to big for having them at home. In the good old Europe we usually live in sad and small flats.
The planes I like most are the P40 (olive drab + shark mouth looks amazing), the Corsair (maybe because I love that blue) and the BF109.
I might try to fly someday, but Im too scared of doing the Kamikaze.
