Due to the size it maybe limited to a special hobby craft store. Old window sash chains had this link holding counter weights but much larger links obviously

Go to a jewellery store that sells cheap or costume jewellery.
Also, beading is a great fountain of this knind of thing.
The beading shop I go to sells chain off the roll

Hi Herman,

It is the "style" of the link that I am looking for. I can get small "loop" link chain in 40 links per inch but it does not look like the chain used.
However I may have to settle for it because I can not ever remember seeing the style needed in very, very small a link.

Ahhh gotcha , Iatvthe risk of sounding facetious, you're that good you could make the stuff !!!

I can't say I've noticed any product that pattern, but then I have only looked for loop chain specifically.
Could still be worth a look in a jewellery cheap shop.
Over here they are called DIVA and sell to teenage girls for fashion accessories.

I think Herman's on the right track. You might try a Hobby Lobby. If I remember correctly, I've seen some chains in the jewelry and beading section that looked similar to that folded chain.

Good luck!

Herman as crazy as it sounds for the likes of us humans Mr Barry might be able to make these himself (a bit tedious) I'm sure but as you noted Herman why not he's probably a skilled alien or something other worldly anyway with all his incredible detail work he's created

Depending on the length of the link I don't think it will be too difficult to make,
It appears to be a piece of rod with a hole at each end,
You could probably dispence with the holes and shape some paper clips.
Shaun,

Please forgive me Mick but I have just finished painting the Lenses of a Panzer 4 rear light unit which as you know is in two colours and very small,
Actually before someone pipes up I know that there are more than two colours but you can only see two at any one time.
Used a toothpick to insert the colours rather than using a brush and now my eyes have gone all funny

Yep you guys are correct, that's the link pattern. Now to find some, where the individual links are .8mm - 1.2mm each. :O

I had considered making my own PE but I would need some 680 individual links!!!!! :lolno:

Alien you say......
I do have A Neg blood type and according to Giorgio Tsoukalos from the "Ancient Aliens" TV show given the Neg blood type is in only about 15% of the earth's population it may very well be of "ancient origin"! :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:
