Eddie it's quite a lovely job you've done there. Somewhat resembles an elephant casemate from the front

The details inside are incredibly well done.

Like the hatch you designed too

Enyoing this one too, weathering looks spot on in the last pic, maybe a little heavy handed on the right side, still looks great tho.

My measurements were slightly off, not by much but I needed to add some 2mm plasticard to the sides, all glued and then welds produced-should look okay when painted and weathered. Only one side done at the moment, will get around to the other side later on.
One thing I dislike about Taigen top hulls is that the tools are pre-moulded. So, it was sand off or have a go with dodgy fingers, so I had a go at painting as it was the easiest option.
Painted tools, all I need to touch up and painted the inside of the hatches.

Another update.

Got both sides on and painted, interior finished and the casement is fitted.

Interior has radio fitted with earphones, large tarp cover and compressor added and a ammo box.

First round of weathering on initial P-grey using a slightly lighter grey to give a worn effect, then a black oil was sponged on and left to dry.

Side carrier made housing grease tins and Jerry-cans.

Still loads to do before this is finished and I can start on the lower hull and wheels.

Big update on this.

Got the lower hull sorted, added electrics, gearboxes etc, got the metal sprockets and idlers on and all the road wheels so now have a rolling chassis. Just got to do some weathering on the lower hull.

Got the top section, with the quick release system sorted as one of the clips was sticking but the two marry up now.

Got my other Tiger out to show the comparison, I think it works rather well.

Eddie it really looks nice I'm thinking what you may want to add is some type of crane to either the front corner fender or on the rear section of the tank just to give it that more and mechanical look that kind of can carry heavy loads of a boxes of ammunition and SuchImage it looks great either way I just think it would bring it all together
Tanks alot....
