Re: Max's 1/6 Blitzkrieg Armor Hetzer Project
That last Hetzer is at the Overloon museum in Netherlands.
I went there last year and was impressed by that camo.
Unfortunately, the light is a bit weird in there like a lot of museums so tricky to get a good colour balance.
The other issue is that with other exhibits and the way they are laid out you often only get good clean photos of half the tank at best.
Anyway, Overloon gets my vote. It can be done 100% with airbrush. I did a variation of this on a 1/56 scale Hetzer a few months ago and this looks great.
Cheers
Tim

Before I start, Tim, do you have photos of the Overloon Hetzer?
Now, SHE'S HERE!!
I plan to take my time and do the very best job I can on this, and in addition to my two main Gurus I'll be turning to a lot of you men right here for help in specific areas. For example, after seeing the truly fine photo etch work that Tom Hugill did on his Tiger I think the choice is obvious if I need help or advice with all things photo-etch. And another Tom, Tao, has been doing good things with the TBS Benedini so I may turn to him for help in that area, and maybe Sollie, too, as he's also done some fine work with sound files, and I think that when it comes to the smoke unit the only place to go will be to Stormin' Normand, and if I'm very, very lucky I might be able to convince Norm to build an acoustic smoker for the Hetzer. What do you think, Norm? These are just a few of the talented guys we have here that I'm really hoping will want to contribute to the project, and of course, comments and suggestions from all forum members are always welcome.
It takes a village to raise a child? It takes a Forum to build a Tank.

Very nice I'll be following along as you assemble this big beast it is very cool lots of pictures as it progresses
Tanks alot....
Re: Max's 1/6 Blitzkrieg Armor Hetzer Project
Thanks, Guys. These photos help a bit more for scale, and you can see the Hetzer really was a little sports car type tank. She packed a big punch, though, which a 75mm will tend to do. That's darn near scale for a .50 caliber paintball, too.
I might just stare at it in awe for a day or two. Can ya blame me?

Hi Max, I have a few pix of the Overloon Hetzer.
It might be easier to just to a google search. I did this evening and found a lot more pix than i took when i saw it.
It will keep you busy for a while.
Good luck.
Tim
