Max, good afternoon!,
I thought about soldering wires onto the pot and mounting it under the Radiomans hatch ( again, ala 'In The Mood' ;o). Since this TD will actually do LOUD without distortion, I decided against further fiddling. It will be nicely mounted and out of the way. If I do need to change the volume, a single screw knob releases the Upper for me to adjust it. Thanks tho' Doc, You are always appreciated.
regards,
Painless

No problem, Bro, any time. I hope you can post some photos once the knob is mounted. Sounds like it might be very useful info for many guys.

Hi all, I had an issue upon arrival of the TD with one of the bogie wheels locking up solid, today both n/s/f wheels
also seized, I have oiled all the bogies now, dont know if its a common problem, also both headlamp guards have
crumbled, so it looks like its living up to its expatations!

Ludwig, Good morning,
Get on the horn to MATO after you go online and register your TD. They will make it right ( for a 500.00 - 700.00 USD vehicle, they had better! ) Send us some pics of the headlight guards, please. I've not seen crumbled before.
regards,
Painless

The mato bogies have been problematic running in harsh situations as they're aluminium on aluminium, take apart, de burr as required and lubricate. I've not used yet but a graphite lubricant seems a good bet as it's dry and wont attract dirt like grease or oil.
