Sound board compatible with standard Taigen 2.4 Ghz RC ?

Post by EagleOne »

Hey to you all,

Is there an good alternative for the standard Taigen Electronic Board (RX-18) you can use with your standard delivered Taigen RC 2.4 Ghz ?
Better Sound !!!

I'm not familiar to connect a new 6 Ch transmitter with receiver to an sophisticated board.

Thanks

hello

soundboards that come to my mind... Beier USM-RC and USM-RC2, not the USM-HL, this one is only for the old RX18 boards, also the Benedini TBS Mini, both have superb results and quality

best regards
Jussek

If you wish to retain the Taigen controller (Multi Function Unit/ RX + transmitter TX) then your options are limited. If you're happy to use a soldering iron to attach just three wires to a circuit board, then you could consider
this upgrade from Beier:

It's not cheap, but does produce impressive proportional sounds. This card has one or two fans on this forum, in fact....and it's worth checking the Forum archives out for more information. Beyond that, you're looking at buying new MFU (Clark, IBU2/3, Asp, etc..); together with a new transmitter and a matching
receiver- probably the 6-channel type you'd wished to avoid.

Thanks for the info,
so I can put the Benedini mini into my system and still using my standard RC and not buying a new one with receiver ?

Seems the best option is the Beier card if you can do some light soldering .

The benedini needs a BARC decoder , and sadly YHR know as Battlearmor , the man behind the the Barc-Benedini-RX18 setup have since retiring , stopped most/all of his tank business.

Depends on what the tank is, and how deep your pockets are.

For a Tiger or Leopard the new RX18 that is in the T90 has excellent sounds, but it does need the RX18 plus tx combo.
