Thereafter I’ve made dirt splashes with a mix of thinned line seed oil and colour pigments at the lower hull. This also again very discrete and in a bright shade because the sandy combat area. Here at the hull front,…

Then followed the periscopes; in the commanders cupola were used the periscopes by Schumo-Kits. They were first primed and thereafter painted.

At all other positions were the periscopes from Torro used, these ones became also a painting. Photos…

What exactly is there left to say lads ?.............

I would be a nervous piss-wreck driving this around a battlefield that was not suitably insulated with bubble wrap & down feathers 8O
The commanders cuppola pictures are just perfect. the slight tinge of rust staining, and paint loss in the right areas.....

You sure do have it going on Mr Hotte

This tank looks really nice. I always wonder when you guys decide that the model is finished? I would imagine it can't be finished ever. ;) another question, does the color look so bright in reality as well, or is it the pictures? I am oftentimes puzzled swing those light shaded colors, because in my imagination I would think camp works best when it is darker, because it gibe less light back for being spotted webn sitting in ambush.

Hello Soeren,

thank you too. It's ever your own decision, when your model is finished. Your imagination how your model has to look is decisive.
To your question. I can't explain this effect so good. The reason for using brighter colour shades is called scale effect.
I think that you can something find about this effect in the internet... :/
