Hi. I was beggining to think about buying a Tamiya King Tiger and I took a look to Seidl Modellbau site and then I found they seem to not to send tanks outside Germany anymore! I bought my Sherman there and had no problems. I googled a bit about them and it seems that there is a new law in Germany about exporting electro articles. So, do you know something about it?
And last question, where do you recommend me to buy the King Tiger? Im living in Austria. Axels modellbau has it out of stock and is more expensive than Seidl, and they are in germany too, so they might have the same problem...
Thanks!

Never had an issue buying from axels but I have with Seidel.
If you email Axels he can get one in 2-3 days.

The problem with Banzai hobby is the customs. What you can save there you pay it three or four times after customs, and sometimes they stop the parcels for a month or two...
So Im afraid I will stick with the EU zone for buying big things like that.

You pay vat, but depending on exchange rate the deal can be very good. When I bough mine, it worked out cheaper with shipping and cat at customs than buying in the eu and you got a 2.4ghz tx and rx you don't on the euro ones. Sadly now exchange rates are worse and shipping has gone up.
I will say the Banzai customer service has been excellent
