m26 floating arms on metal tracking

Post by wadsworthj »

Hi Folks.
I am in the cow pat. so to speak .
I disconnected all the metal wheels and running gear on my m26 pershing, as it arrived damaged, and on refurbishing it ,when it came to putting it all back , I could not remember how the articulated swing arms went on the tank, and everything I have tried does not work.
No matter which way round I fit them. one end is too far away from the bodywork in order to fit the holding bolt.
Any ideas or picks/drawings would solve the problem.
Many thanks for reading.
Cheers john W. aka Wads.

You didn't mention the brand of your M-26. So here are a few photo's from my Tamiya M-26 assembly manual, maybe it will help.

Sorry that the photo's aren't laying correctly, still trying to figure out the camera on my new phone.

Hi .
Thanks for the photos. but my model is Heng Long.
However, I have got it sorted by the seller. who emailed me a couple of photos that put me on the right track.
but again thanks for taking the trouble.
