hi guys the upper hull if you have the later tiger with the screws behind the track bar then you cant fix the bracket to the upper hull heng long changed the top decks to the 2 screw version for that reason the older type one will still fit with the one cental peg at the front

if you want to use them you need to redrill holes in the taigen base plate in the hull to line up
if they are zinc or plastic may i suggest the 5.1 black steel gears they are a straight fit in the base

I think thats what I will do then. Also just get one tank fully upgraded for now. I think the new idlers for the pzII should be good enough for now. Do you want me to pm you here or on ebay with the order Dave?

Just a quick question about a certain shade of paint. Does anyone know which tamiya paint would best match this grey on this paint job? I was thinking TS-66, AS-2, AS-18, or AS-28.

SA, I don't use Tamiya paints so I can't help you with that, but I can take this opportunity to turn you on to a very cool conversion chart that you may not have seen before. It's called paint4models and if you know it you can just skip the rest of this, but if not, try it out and see what you think. Like I said, I don't use Tamiya paint but I do use Testors Model Master, and the color I like for this is Panzer Gray, which the chart says is the same as Tamiya XF-63. Here's the link to the chart, but don't download it, just launch it. If you download it's not interactive. You can select what paints you have and want to look for and you can move the columns around to make them easier to compare and it just has lots of cool features like that. In my static Aircraft builds it's just priceless.

And if you're not yet familiar with this chart I'd really like to hear your opinions after you try it.

Awesome thanks Max.

So I just got some of my parts in and installed them (taigen lower hull, road wheels, 5:1 gears) everything seemed to go good, just when I run the left track goes a little slower at starting than the other side. My trims ae good tank runs straight. No gringing or weird sounds. I go to move the track by hand moves ok in forward , then i start in reverse and halfway around it doesnt want to move.

The first thing I would look for is a track pin that's wriggled loose and is catching on something when it gets half way around like that. Video really helps guys here help you.
