ANOTHER NEW HOOBEN ELEFANT.

Hi. there.
I too received my hooben elefant kit today, via "parcel force/customs". Yes they singled out my parcel. but
the cost was paid for by the seller, (Tankzone), it came in very reasonable condition.
and I was pleased to find that the instructions are now in English, and that an ali barrel was inc along with a plastic one.
the pics will be much the same as already posted,,so it is a matter of going through everything very carefully.
There are a lot of peoplr who have built and modified these kits so a god amount of help is there, if you search.
will put pics of my build later.
It should be interesting to follow both builds,

Just found licmastank is selling the elefant for 199 euros, I dont know how much it is in tankzone but it sounds like a good deal.

Hi.
Avoid it like the plague, especially if it is the older model with Tamiya recoil.
Mine is a right pain in the butt,
poor illustrations, most of the small screws, I have thrown away, as the heads open up like flowers as soon as they see a screwdriver, none of the holes for the screws line up. very poor kit, but as I paid £279.00. I will do a hell of a lot of work,
and build it
I will never buy another "Hooben".

Sorry to heard that. Im interested in the T55 but I only read really bad things about it, so I can imagine your experience with the Elefant...
