first watched it at 16 as a training video in the army due to its graphic portrayal of combat and realness
best bit when a marine stands on the shoulder of a vc and point blanks his head with an m60 tomato sauce everywhere
Sorry to Nit-Pick but 'Hamburger Hill' is based on an actual battle fought by 101st Airborne, not Marines. Not a bad effort either.

Re: My List Of Movies With Tanks In
i tried watching 'battle of the bulge' but all the tanks were so wrong! when the reconisence plane at the start misses the 'german' tanks under camo they are clearly not german tanks and when the the models of new weapons are shown he talks about the 'king tiger' which is actually a bulldog! all in all i just had to quit the film as it was tearing me appart!
Re: My List Of Movies With Tanks In
As mentioned above Tron, but what about the Gozilla films?

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this one big I watched "War Pigs" a little while ago, good film and it actually has a Panzer 4 as well as other German armour good to see a film that doesn't use other tanks as German armour , worth a watch.

Sahara should be listed twice. the first was with Bogart the second with Balushi. Both are essentially the same but I think the tank used in the second one may be the same one used in the filming of 1941 where the Balushi brother who died played the crazy pilot.

Re: My List Of Movies With Tanks In
Thought I read the 43 movie was filmed in California, and the Belushi version Down Under. Could be the same tank, but I'd doubt it.
I have both and found it interesting the script was near identical. The "German" attacking plane was a (as I recall) Spit in the first film and I think a Typhoon or Tempest in the latter (haven't watched them in a while).
