King Tiger road wheels?

Post by jackalope »

Well I drove the road wheels off of my King Tiger today, literally! At the park, an hour into the woods and I break a track pin upon closer inspection I also found 3 road wheels so bad that they're damn near able to be pulled off of the axle pins! So I need new road wheels and may as well get some new tracks too.

My question is my road wheels and tracks are Taigen, the road wheels have no bearings in them which explains why they wore out and the tracks are getting on my nerves having to glue the pins all the time! So what I need to know is if the IMEX road wheels have bearings and if their tracks lock the pins in?

I don't mind spending the money if the parts are better then what I have. If not does anyone know of any KT road wheels that will work with the Torro lower hull that have bearings? And better tracks?

Thanks!

Jack, you definitely want the torro tracks. Unlike the tracks you have now, the Torro are closed link and run just great. They're just like the tracks on your Jagdtiger. Call Erik.

As for roadwheels, I'll keep my eye open.

Thanks Max. I looked and the KT road wheels they carry have full bearings so I'll be ordering them as well.

Herman I accept that Mr Hill and Mr Everett were both British and slightly to the left of crazed out of their brains BUT DAVE ALLAN was an Irishman so we are not responsible for your attraction to Mr Beams sipping Whiskey. :haha: :haha:
