Hello, nice to join You guys!
Hi all,
I'm Monica, 30 yrs old, biologist. Thanks to my boyfriend Jake (Jake79), forum member here, i discovered the fascinating world of rc tanks. I found it really interesting but also I can see it's very time consuming and expensive hobby. It seems to be a lot of fun and the finall results are very rewarding. I 'd love to have a try myself.
This is the only tank Jake would let me have, he's reluctant to even let me drive one of his 1/16, let alone give me one so im going to get one by myself lol. I think for my first tank i'll be looking for a Sherman or Panzer IV. I like the look of Tamya kits but it's sooo expensive.
This is my grandpa, he was in Polish army in early 60' and the Asu 85. Sorry in advance, my english is not to great lol.
Okay guys, thanks for having me and i look forward to learn more and more everyday.

That or the Sherman are good places to start. I'm trying to get my daughter to start her Tiger and get her here too.Moni wrote: Actually what's mine is mine and what's his it's mine too, so all good.

Hey Moni, glad you joined hun...I can see this being expensive lol it's addictive too, better watch YOUR purse strings, seriously tho the Panzer IV is a good choice it's a Heng Long so fairly simple if you want to do any upgrades..anyways hope you enjoy

Do you have a link to that Panzer IV....They are pretty nice tanks...I ask because it would be good to see what version it is...as Heng Long makes about 3 different versions of it...so I'm just not sure you would enjoy the basic basic model....though I'm sure Jake could assist in doing any alterations you would need...With that said...it's still nice to have at least the smoke and sound versions ...they are just a tad bit cooler
