Re: hl walker bulldog on the way
I can kind of see what you are saying....looks like your Walker is still too fresh
....Have you taken it out and just run it at full speed?....I've found it helps the running gear a great deal....I usually take mine out and really wring it out...full speed forward and backwards...full speed spins both directions...will do this till the battery runs down....it helps take out a lot of the low speed kinks

not really in the biz, just wanted a fpv setup that was cheap and portable.a typical setup cost around $500 to buy.i built this setup for under $150 but i already had the moniter....a used headrest 7 in dvd player.ALPHA wrote:WoW!!!...That's some set up you got there igotit...you in the AV biz

most use small lipos to power up the moniter and reciever,i used a $11 12v sla battery that provides 9 hours of run time.....the downside is the battery is 5 lbs.
this camera is a cm205 unit,$20 and has built in vid transmitter,3/8 x 3/8 x 1.5 in....made to be installed as a hidden type spy cam.
its cheap and efficent to run.....its dowside is short range and has poor visibility in low light conditions.
Re: hl walker bulldog on the way
I've just bought a 2.4G Leo2a6. Production date is May 2015 and has trim. As I test drive, the tank move fine though not great. I dont know what version that 2.4g is. How can I check? The tank come with 1800mah li.ion battery. Not sure if it would pass custom check or not. I'm still in Thailand.ALPHA wrote:Is yours the 2.4 version?....If not...does your controller have trims....found messing with the adjustments helped quite a bit in slow maneuvering ....The downside is I'm pretty sure HL removed the trim on the later models ...on the second gen 2.4 they are gone also...interestingly enough...they put one back on the 3rd gen 2.4
really sensitive....but on the M1 it helps a lot....![]()

Re: hl walker bulldog on the way
The price of FPV is coming down every day. I did a complete system that I can plop down on any tiger tank, take video and drive with TC view through goggles, and the whole thing was less than $250. Naturally I did a video on it. A whole thread, in fact. You must have missed that one, Alpha.

I've also got a couple of videos on how I made the camera mount and one that shows the goggles and how they work, with shots of the screen inside the goggles in action. If you're interested in FPV, Alpha, I can post more videos in my FPV thread for ya.

Thanx for sharing that thread and vid max.
Ive unplugged the signal wire from airsoft unit to mfu....this eliminated track recoil when the airsoft is fired.

Unfortunately, doing it that way means you also lose the sound effect for your cannon. You can eliminate track recoil and keep cannon sound with a komodo board from RCTA for right around twenty bucks. I have those in almost all my stock airsoft tanks.

Re: hl walker bulldog on the way
What you have is probably the 3rd Gen Steel....the way you can tell is if it is the 3rd gen is by the general appearance....the 3rd gen TX is rounded and smooth all over....where the 1st and 2nd is square like the old 27 mhz models but with no antenna and no crystal portSteelBird wrote:I've just bought a 2.4G Leo2a6. The 3rd gen's trim is only for the left / right steer....works best when going slow....but as I stated before...some of the rough control is due to lack of "break in"...run your tank full throttle first ...all directions ...for as much time the battery allows...then recharge and see how it runs...should run much smoother
