Just added the headlight trunking and the handle for the step at the front. I also thought I would put the shovel the other way round and added some dirt to it. Still waiting to weather the tank once my confidence is there

From my point of view...I don't think you need to worry much about weathering...Taigen does a pretty decent job with their paint jobs...I think you should get a little play time and a few nicks here and there...then age them

PS. Get a Sherman so you don't have to battle Tiger to Tiger lol

Ha ha ALPHA......Sherman does sound good, I can't have the Tigers at war with each other lol.......I like the idea as you said the paintwork isn't t bad on these tanks......just a bit of ageing would be good.....I've just done the air filter pipes. They arnt fitted properly yet as I'm due to remove the battery for charging cheers buddy

There is a thread running by Jackalope....he mentions chalks and pastels...they are really good temporary aging agents...most disappear with time and some just disappear when you clear coat...if you really get the urge....you could try that and practice weathering ...later making more permanent marks with paint

...OH... It doesn't have to be a Sherman...you could always get a T34

Thanks ALPHA. I'll check out the post ! Sounds good with pastels and chalk....I like the idea that it's not permanent for the time being.......I've just finished the air filter pipes....for now lol. I did see a pick on here and they looked kinda ribbed.....so I had a go

Have to revamp my Tiger one day...funny thing about it is...even though it's not quite up to snuff...it's one of my first restorations...and it runs like a bat out of hell ...factory installed RED headlamps help that effect (you should see it at night )...Reason when I do pull her off the shelf...to do anything to her...I hesitate...then stop ...one day for sure lol...She's my Hell Kat...for now I like her like that

Looking really good. The only thing I can suggest is that muzzle brakes on the real thing did not get blacked so much from smoke residue, the Germans used a very clean burning powder in their tank shells. The way the rc tank mfgs paint them they look as if black powder was used.

Cheers guys ! I have now sprayed the end of the barrel on the early tiger to remove the black....does look loads better Barbed wire going on to ! Also have another little project under way to waterproof a tiger.........just got a cheap chassis to work on......photos on the way
