SU 100 kit

Post by RobW »

Found this thread on the subject, viewtopic.php?f=19&t=11952 but has anyone had any dealings with http://www.an-bri-rc-modellbau.de/epage ... u%20100%22 in the meantime? Having run the reply to my email through Google Translate he's got them in stock.

Long term project, and suspect it'll get stashed away from prying eyes for a year or so until I get a workshop!

Andreas is a good guy and has lots of unique stuff. The SU-100 came with quite a bit of metal parts, more than what was describe on the website when I got mine. I have seen another kit later on and it has different percentage of resin vs metal parts so I think it is a bit of a crap shot. Most of the casting are good but they all need work to clean up. Mine was mated to a WSN upper and lower and then I swap the lower for the new Taigen metal lower.

I don't even remember a barrel from the kit, but I first used a brass tube and the a proper 100mm barrel from MK for the rebuild.
