Hi All,
I have a question for the collective brain trust that resides herein: Apart from the internal electronic make-up, are there any external appearance differences between the Tamiya King Tiger kit (Henschel turret) which is described as "Motorized" (kit 36204) and any other Tamiya King Tiger kit (Henschel turret)?

There's a few. Depends on what you want to do with it. I would not recommend trying to make a 36204 into a FO. Can speak from personal experience on this one.

Re: Tamiya King Tiger Question
Thanks Billpe. No, the plan is to keep it a basically static model. I was just wondering whether there had been any cosmetic changes from the 36204 kit, which Tamiya describes as a "Motorized" kit, to their latest FO kit.

Outwardly I can't recall any differences between them. There's a couple of holes in the top where they screw down onto a brace which would need to be filled in but thats it. It's not the best static kit though as it's missing some detail parts.

Static kit I'd go with Trumpeter myself.
