Hi
I am new to R/c tanks. I have recently purchased a ex demonstrator hl tiger 1. I have spent a bit already as it did not come with accessories. I am interested in ir battle systems forgebear can supply kit to convert it, But I need to find out how they work and how compatible systems and and of course I will need to buy another tank as well

Welcome to the Forum

They are a really friendly bunch on here as you will soon see. Forgebear and Welsh Dragon are great sources of parts for our tanks.
If you have any questions there is a Search facility located in the top right hand corner of the main Forum banner which is very useful but if you cannot find the answer then please just post a question and someone will soon come along the help you.

Ahh-haa, see how quickly the need for more tanks overcomes even the most rational of men

Welcome in mate, I'm keen to see your demonstrator Tiger, pictures please when you can.................saves a lot of reading

I also encourage you to take the time to scout through the years of back catalogue builds in here, there really are some sensational projects gone before & all of them serve to educate & inspire.

Thank you all for the welcome. I want to convert my Hl Tiger I airsoft to ir battle. I do not need recoil flash etc. I just want to use a emitter led and the apple ir receiver and some wiring. I have seen the sgc crawler you tube video and they use the above parts and 5 pin and 3 pin lead. I would be grateful for any info and diagrams that you may have.

You could just buy a turret with the ir all fitted so its just a turret swapnand a few cables to plug in
