You didn't say which kind of cupola you need. Here's the first kind;

David, they are great..respect man
Started them earlier based on a very fuzzy internet pic! But now David has posted these, I can crack on..

Scratching the bodies from styrene and adding some of the Aber brackets for the eye pads and pads between the scope blocks.
Test fit...not a great pic!

Test fit to see if the barrel lies horizontal ..looking good IMHO

David, no thanks. I am basing the periscopes on the Aber etch dimensions but beefing them up. Will look OK when finished.....I hopeDavidByrden wrote:Oh, I'm sorry, did you want dimensioned drawings?

Re: ABE'S EARLY TIGER 1 BUILD
Hey Abe, I've been somewhat absent from these lovely forums but I did notice your entrance awhile back.
Good to see more energetic Tiger builds still happening, with lots of fancy parts and major over hauls done. Sorry I wasn't early enough to chime in on that turret ring issue sooner. I too have lowered mine quite a bit following in Tanksforthememeories footprints.
You're off to a great start, everything looking good so far. Watch those injuries, take your time and don't get hurt. I've got a pretty large (ugly) scar on the meat of my palm/thumb from a chisel too. Take care, looking forward to progress!

Sovereign...I remember as my dad got older, he injured himself more with screw drivers and chisels...must be a getting old thing!
Did some painting on the gun assembly, nothing spectacular as it will be seen only through the cupola in the internal shadows. BTW the built up section on top is sheet styrene layers to level up the gun when fitted.

Loaders Hatch side

And my Solder paint arrived as well, so will be practicing on the Aber fenders!

More laters

AAhhhhhh.............the solder paint , in the bottle, with label
Going on a mission to get me some of that.
By the way, cudos to you Mr Froman for the gun and cupola interior details,
Maybe I am a bit(lot) biased, but the Tiger commanders sure do seem to get that extra "oomph" when it comes to getting the best out of H/L's offering of the stock unit ?
yeah, righto, im biased............
