Not sure if this is the right forum for this but....
I ordered some metal add on parts, (weapons, tools, ect) and a Tamiya Tiger countershaft with ball bearings, (See pic below). Items were shipped in a small packet bubble envelope (4x6). I only received the weapons & tools- no Countershaft with bearings in the envelope. The weps & tools were bagged and inserted into a folded piece of cardboard.
Has anyone had the same problem with these guys? I tried to e:mail them, and sent a message on thier website, no answer yet.
Has anyone delt with them before any tips on contact, ect? I have been sending english and Google translated text...
Thanks
Larry

Re: www.panzerparts.com
I have ordered a couple of things from them with no issues but it does take a bit to get e-mail response. I think one of my questions took about a week to get a reply. Like a lot of vendors I think he only does it part time...
Good luck and hope it works out...

Well I received a reply, however it appears I'm out of luck...
"hello,
i cannot believe that you dont get the tamiya tiger vorgelege.because i sent it with the other parts.
when you have a look to the post bill, you will see that the parcel has a weight of nurly 1000g and
(postage until 1000g 7,00euro + 2,15 euro registered letter.)
if i would have sent only the small parts it only would weight 100g.if you realy receive the small parts
it only can be lost on the postage way.then you must complain it at the sending station.i cannot complain it
because i dont have the parcel.sorry for your inconvenience but it is not my fault
bye peter"
How can I follow up with your carrier in Germany? Was this parcel Insured? I will be putting in a dispute with Paypal.

PayPal dispute, for sure. It's up to the seller to ensure it gets to you. I think what he means is check with your local post office, although if you've got some of the bits in not sure how that will help.
Re: www.panzerparts.com
So he's saying he sent a parcel weighing almost 1000g yet you only receive parts that weigh less then 100g. How does that happen. Is the weight on the parcel?
He also says he sent it registered (..+ 2,15 euro registered letter...) so he should be able to claim for compensation.

Re: www.panzerparts.com
Woz,
When I opened the envelope all that was inside was a folded cardboard with the smaller bits. It was packed in a buble mailer, and it surely could not hold the 2+ pounds of steel parts. I think it ripped through the bottom of the envelope. But, I did not notice or was not looking for a hole when I opened the envelope.
Regestered should be insured. I hope....

Well,
Paypal has agreed with me and given me a refund on the parts I did not receive plus shipping. Its hard to belive a dealer would just flip you off once he drops it in the mail -

Uh Oh looks like someone else on the blacklist.

That's a shame as they look to be the only supplier of the SU76 kit for the P3 (Hobbyking are doing a silly deal at the moment - yes, I know they also feature on the list!).

Re: www.panzerparts.com
I've always believed that when something is posted the contract is between the sender and the carrier , ie if the unlucky recipient tries to make a claim with the carrier they wont entertain that. This was always the case when I worked for the post office many years ago and I've yet to hear to the contrary.
Thank goodness PP looked after you - that's shockingly bad of the seller to try a move like that
