You probably would have wanted to repaint the Taigen also Painless, I did mine. They used too much yellow mixed with the olive in my opinion. Purchased the Tamiya G sprue and machine gun for mine also, thank you.

That is an interesting point on the Taigen paint. I have seen versions where it looks perfect but of late, I have seen versions that are too yellow as you noted. Different painter or a whole bunch of them.
Here is a list of the Tamiya sprues that I used on B-12. They came from AAF here in the States.

Thanks for that Painless. My machine gun and G sprue should be here today.

My local Hobbytown USA has brought in the Taigen line for the Christmas season. I hope he continues afterwards. He has the Pershing and Bulldog out of the boxes for all to see and touch. The Pershing is really yellow. As you said, it could just be the painter.Mine was pretty yellow as well so I mixed Tamiya Olive Drab and a little flat black and shot it. I like it much better than their offering.

Very nice Pershing! Good hue on the OD. Rust looks perfect! Your Commander has that soul-less Thousand Yard Stare thing going on. ;o) He has seen too much!

Happy Holidays again to all. B-12 roared back to life today with a new Taigen smoker. I had to repair one of the broken mounts in the lower hull for the device and did so with a filed down section of plastic gun barrel. The resulting ring acted as a support collar and was a tight fit with a little glue. The smoker was a simple swap out after that so I added six drops of the Mega -Steam fluid ( w\diesel scent ) and started up the motor. I had to call Griffy to come see as the kitchen filled up with 'smoke' *chuckles* Progress was made so now I am back to waiting for the Turret from Forgebear and the periscope guards from ETO.
