I had thought of this! If she was gonna keep being silly and saying no more then I was gonna tell her ok and that I would be selling the 2 I have to get only 1 R/C tank. The next thing she'd know she'd be looking at a 1/6 scale Tiger running through the yard! :haha:

Some woman just have a problem with men playing with toys. In my early 20's I got into Warhammer 40k and my girlfriend at the time found it embarrassing ("grown ups don't play with toys"), that was until she found out that most of her friends husbands/bf's played some kind of "nerdy" game or other such kids hobby.

We should start up something on the forum to deal with relationships. I have been lucky so far. My problem is stopping her from spending all my money on toys for the kids. Twins, just 1 1/2 yrs old. The little boy will be my excuse for buying my , I mean his toys. In the spring we are going to start an outdoor garden railway. He can already pick the tiny tank from his collection of toy cars and the tank is his favourite. His mum will have no objections to him having a 1/16 T34.

:haha: :haha: Your relationship sounds very solid John.... I'm sure your wife is on to "this tank is for junior"...and the Garden Railway will give them "Lasting Memories" :D
You are a lucky man John.... her agreeing is her way of saying how much she cares for you and how you are a good example as a father

I applaud you sir

If this problem comes up again, just do what my Bride and I do! Before the argument starts,....we both have to get naked!! :eh:

Now I don't your age, but you can picture two 60+++++ year olds laughing there butts off standing there getting ready for a show down.
